Spox says unaware of court rulings to arrest N Stream-2 assets
MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- Operator of Russian gas pipeline project Nord Stream 2 AG is unaware of any court proceedings that would allow Poland to freeze the project, a spokesperson told PRIME on Tuesday.
"Nord Stream 2 AG is unaware of any court litigations that could be reflected on the assets of the company and therefore on the project," the spokesperson said.
Poland's Deputy State Assets Minister Janusz Kowalski told newspaper Wprost on Tuesday that he advocated arrest of shares of Nord Stream AG and Nord Stream 2 AG, if Gazprom does not pay U.S. $1.5 billion to Poland's PGNiG under a ruling of the Stockholm arbitration court.
